Holidays

I think that my favorite one would be Christmas. I like the Christmas atmosphere. Everything is so calm, people spend more time with their families. And Christmas trees and decorations, foods and smells, presents - it all can give you a special feeling that can only be received on Christmas!

There are two holidays that I like very much. Christmas is one of them. I love decorating the house, creating my own christmas cards, buying and receiving presents and spending lots of time with my family. Another holiday that I really like is midsummer eve. In Denmark it is called "Skt Hans" and we celebrate it on June 23. There are bonfires everywhere and we have a special song that we sing. I love Skt Hans, because it feels like the start of the summer and because it is nice sit around the bonfire with my husband and my friends. Sometimes my husband and I drive around and look at the bonfires in our area, it is very beautiful, and there is a special kind of atmosphere that night.

My favorite holiday out of the whole year is also Thanksgiving. I love it because its all about great food and family time. Christmas is ok but its just so much hype and has become so commercialized. Its just not the same as it was when I was a little girl.

I like Thanksgiving and Christmas. Their both great, because my family gets together. We all cook, talk, and enjoy our time together. Sometimes we all go out the day after Thanksgiving and go shopping which is very fun and exciting.

I believe that Christmas is the best holiday. It is so wonderful to decorate the house and spend time with family and buy and receive gifts.

Christmas has always been my all time favorite holiday. I love everything about Christmas, the whle feeling of teh season is amazing. I love all the decorations, the christmas tree, Santa, Parties and spending time with family, and can't forget the gifts! Especially now that i have a daughter. I love going Christmas shopping and buying gifts for everyone. So much fun! And, i never forget the true reason for the season. We must not forget that we are celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ!
