Do you need to encourage yourself everyday when you wake up? Why?

I value myself a very optimistic person and as I feel happy when I get up every morning . But I used to be in a very bad mood for long time - I had to encourage myself to get up, take a shower, eat breakfast, get dressed, and go to work. I questioned myself - why was I in that situation? How can I improve my work-life style to make myself happier? The answer was that I hated me not be able to fully cope with my job at that time. I went to a lot of training courses and read a lot of books and applied the knowledge to my job and I really found that thing started getting better and better...The conclusion is that if you feel yourself unhappy, dig the reason out, and fix it. Do you need to encourage yourself everyday when you wake up? Ask yourself why first, face it, and fix it!

Hi will2010, it's nice to know there is someone else doing the similar thing witch I usually do when waking up in the morning First of all I think of somethings I had experience before that were funny indeed and could make me smile or laugh. I like to begin a happy brand new day with happy mood. I'm the type of procrastination person. I tend to delaying many works planned. I always do some of them that should be finished according schedule. I have to encourage myself not to indulge in other amusements like playing computer games, watching videos, hanging out with friends, etc before all the works planned accomplished before due date. The decision made after waking up is really important. The great self encouragement every morning helps me a lot to keep me apart from the bad habit of procrastination Happy posting

I am not a morning person, so I really find it hard to wake up very early for work. Besides I went home late at night and I don't always have enough sleep. However, My work and sacrifices are not just for me. This is for my family specially for my parents. I do have to get up and be ready for work. I should not be late to avoid negative impressions from my superiors. I have to work to give the standard of living that my loving parents deserve.
