what Channel or TV Station are you fond of?...

Different countries have their own TV stations... but some TV Stations are very known worldwide... Like here in the Philippines, one of the two TV stations that gives a great impact on the Filipinos are ABS-CBN and GMA 7.... they also have a name for those who are fond of ABS-CBN which is 'Kapamilya' (a Family member) and to GMA as 'Kapuso' (someone who is close to your heart)....
Some people have their channels like HBO, Star Movies, Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon. And if you would ask me what TV Station that I am fond of... that would be MTV... for I am a music lover... and I want to know what is hot in the music scene...
Turn on that TV and see what you are fond of....

we really don't stick on to one channel... it is like a food... we don't only get used to steak...we must try some other varieties... ;) ...thanks for that mate!!! ;)

Im so into ABS-CBN , not just because i like the station itself, shows in that said station are worth watching. May it be anime, drama, or even the talkshows in that station are pretty much interesting compared to the other stations. I like the fact that they try to keep up with what the audience wants and not just a one themed station like gma is. For the past 4-5 years gma never stopped airing those telepastansya of theirs, that have low or even poor visual effects poor scripts and bad acting actors and actress as well.No wonder im into ABS CBN so much.

I agree on that... they never get out of the Fantasy-themed teleseries... and the way they deliver those lines, it is just simple... Unlike ABS-CBN, they know how to capture the hearts of their viewers by giving more suprises for us...and their series, it's high rating. no offense for those who are fond of GMA 7, but they also carry new talents that will someday be a big foundation in the showbiz industry... ;)

Will we do have HBO also but most of the movies they show have bed scence , not suitable with childrens around yea .

the best way to watch it is with Adult Supervision... that's why when the show is about to start, viewers are informed that the show that they will about to see is Parental Guidance...better watch it in a timely manner... peace on that...thanks for the share... ;)

Every morning when I wake up I make sure that I tune into Sky News! I love watching this channel whilst having my breakfast and it helps to pass the time as well. I just love keeping tabs with what is going on in the world and Sky News suits my needs for that. Obviously I have so many channels and I cannot keep tabs on them all but I do tend to wear the tv controller out as I constantly flick through the channels! I have quite a few music channels but I don't tune into them much. I also like the regular channels like ITV, BBC1 and channel 5. I'm not familiar with the channels that you mention though, I'm not sure if they are shown in London. I love tv all the same and to live without it would be an absolute nightmare! Andrew

Absolutely, different countries have different channels and not only that different cities also have different channels. But there are few which are common like HBO, Star Movies,Cartoon Network, Discovery, etc. I like all these channels also. My favorite one is Discovety, all time favorites and Travel & Living too. For movies, HBO is the best one. We also have WB channels which shows nice English movie. MTV, yes, for all recent music, it is the best and so is the V channel..

I don't have cable or satellite at home, but when I am lucky enough to be somewhere that does I usually just browse for shows that I want to watch. One channel that I can usually find something enjoyable on is Food Network - I love watching cooking shows, and they seem to have the best ones.
