Yesterday, a caller to a radio station start a discussion about her 14 years old teen wants to wear thong underwear. She strongly rejected her daughter request, and won't let her do that until she is a little bit mature in age. Some listeners agree, while other disagree. So, according to your opinion, do you think a 14 years old wear a thong underwear is mature enough? Or, she has to wait?

Nope, no way no how and not in my house. When she has a job and has moved out of the house she can do what she wants. However, if I happen to see them I will throw them out. lolol.
I would take inventory of her friends. There are some friends of hers that I would have to ban her from. After all, where did the idea of wearing those things come from? There has to be some peer pressure, and if my kid were running with others whose parents allowed that, I would have to put my foot down and not allow her to visit their house.
I'm old fashioned. a parent is a parent and not a friend. A parent is supposed to help to guide the children into a safe and better life and teach them responsibility. A parent shows love by not giving in to the kids when it could potentially do harm. Who is she going to show those to? Would be on my mind so the answer is: GRANNY PANTIES!! They must go past the belly button.
If I had kids, they would hate me. Now. But maybe they would learn to love me when they have kids. lolol.
