If according to catholic religion, that we all came from one parent which is Adam and Eve, is the holy bible condoning incests? We were born with original sin because Adam and Eve were outcast from paradise after the apple was eaten. They were told to go and multiply. Any comments?

Well if you want to accept the Bible as truth then yeah you will have that little problem of us all being products of incest. It is fun to me that so many would rather believe in that than to accept evolution as the explanation. Evolution would allow for multiple different humans to be on Earth at the same time. As to this original sin thing, why should anyone be punished for the sins that someone else committed. I did not eat any of the fruit, Adam and Eve did. Fine punish them, but no one else ate any of the forbidden fruit.

Faith allows me to believe in both evolution and God as creator. After all, if man had not evolved past "adam" (mankind) to Adam (living soul) he would not have been able to conceive of concepts like good and evil and he could not have chosen disobedience. Eve's punishment was pain in childbirth. It is the size of the brain that causes pain for human women. Evolution and the Bible are not at odds, except for those who fail to see the beautiful explanation in Genesis as figurative and spiritual and instead insist on literal definition of the story.

Adam and Eve is just a story.Whoever wrote the original story wasn't thinking clearly or they would have caught that.
