I was in prison and on my way to work when I saw more than the usual amout of people standing by the outside T.V.'s, right when I looked at the tv to see what was up we say the second plane hit. Call me what you want to but I knew this country was in for an awakening of some sort because of the way we are obliviant to our surrooundings and other countries. But in no way am I condoning what happened.

That`s a great question!! I was in my 8th grade math class. It was early. I remember it shot over the morning announcements to turn the news on a certain channel and what happened. We kept the TV on until it was over, and for about another 45 minutes after that. The school had a moment of silence and then there was the talk about it for the next couple months. It was a hectic day that day, I remember so clearly.

I was still in high school. They announced it over the intercom and all the classes turned on the television. I went to school with lots of kids who had a parent stationed at the nearby military base. When the Pentagon was hit it was probably more dramatic moment for us as a group because we realized the ramifications of that happening and that we were in possible danger. Most of the kids with parents in the military cried openly because they were really worried when it was annouced locally that our ships were heading towards NYC since the USS Kennedy protects NYC and these kids didn't even get to say goodbye to their parent. They had no idea what to expect out of the rest of the day. It was bad. Really bad.

I was at home, and my daughter who was in high school, was home from school, I know not why.. and her best friend was home too.. who called her and told her planes had ridden tnto the trade center towers.. so we turned on the news and I've been more of a news hound ever since..

Driving to a house to install some carpet. Was joking about it at the time until the second plane hit, then I realised how serious it was, and it was no accident with a little plane.

I was at home getting my kids ready for school...I quickly picked up the phone and tried to call my husband at work to let him know what was going on in NY, but he wasn't there yet, so I called my sister and we were on the phone for hours...Trying to figure out what to do next, like wether or not we should take our kids out of school for the day, if there were supplies needed to get. I have never been that scared in my life....For many days after 9/11 I couldn't get myself back to normal...I just felt like a zombie! I remember it just as if it was today...Wow that feeling of not knowing what is exactly going on is very hard to shake...It was just so unreal at the moment, it felt like I was in a movie...

I was just watching a movie and suddenly the news splashed about bombardment of twin towers.I was shocked and cursed the terrorists that they and their families should be wiped out of this world for killing thousands of innocent people.

I came downstairs sat my 3 month old in his child seat and turned on the television that morning. It took me a minute to understand what I was seeing. When I did I just started screaming. When the first building fell I cried uncontrollably. I'd never heard those sounds come from me before. It was horrible and I just couldn't believe what I was seeing. It was very painful even though I knew no one living in New York or DC. Every face the camera landed on made me realize how real this was and what it meant.
