If you LOVE both Dog and Cat which pet would you keep in your Crib?

hmmm...seriously both cats and dogs are super cute and most of world's population are dogs and cats lover but if their a situation that you'll have to choose one?... maybe it will be a tough decision for a pet lover.Like when your parents told you "get rid of your cat","get rid of your dog" wa!!!! it's not that easy to let go one of your cute pet for sure.And just what if you have to choose?..which pet would you keep and which would you let go....just like me i have a dog and a cat and my mom says that i have to get rid of one of my pet...
And also in relationship does it affect your relationship if your boyfriend or girlfriend is an dog lover while your a cat lover or maybe he's the cat lover while your a dog lover.
what pet would you choose to keep?...
will it affect a relationship,having an opposite taste in dog and a cat?.....

I am of the opinion that when you adopt a companion animal, you're making a serious commitment to protect and give that animal shelter for the rest of its life. This includes vet visits and food, and decent bedding and attention.
I understand that sometimes tragic circumstances arise and people really cannot care for their pets anymore. In these cases I believe you should find a new, good home for your pet, NOT dropping it off at a shelter or abandoning it.

Very interesting discussion. If I was aked this question before maybe 3 to 4 months back I would have said not both but now after seeing my neighbour's do and seeing how loyal they really are I would surely love to keep a dog back and yes if my boyfriend would have been a cat lover I would have given the cat to him so that he is also happy.

My cat has a bed, not a baby crib, but he is my one and only pet. I could never get rid of him, he is part of the family. My partner likes dogs but there is no issue between us over the cat or getting a dog.

If they won't fight, I would love to keep them both in my house. But if I'd really have to choose just one, I'll keep a dog. Not that I don't like cats at all (I love all animals). It's just that I am closer to dogs, you know.
I don't think it's gonna effect a relationship at all. That's not something to make a fuss of.

Oppps im pretty biased with cats, i will go for cats,although i find dogs cute and good as a companion i think cats to the same thing for me too. Actually this is a matter of choice no one is right or wrong, i may be choosing a cat and someone else might say a dog but whatever we choose what matters is that we are happy with what we want. For as long as no one gets hurt with what we want then i think everything can be really smooth and fine ;)

I do love both. And have kept both. But currently I have a dog. And I do notice that the dog likes being around us more than a cat. She is like a member of the family. So for now, dog would be my choice.

I like my cats though I had thought I was still allergic so my hubby bought us a dog. The dog IMO was a mistake he is alot of work, does alot of damage to our things, sheds, my middle is afraid of him, he's pulled me don a small set of steps a few times (even once when I was pregnant) and is somedays worse than all of my kids put togeather. I have been trying to convince hubby for years to find the dog a new home. I'd rather have another cat!

it is such a dilemma!but if i have to choose one between the two pets,it will be dog.Dogs are loyal to their owners,and easily to get on with. they are always sweet and cute!

I love cats a lot.I love even dogs but not as much as cats. I have more attachment to cats,so I chose cats over dogs. Till now I had three cats with me. Everyone in my family loves cats very much. So from my childhood we used to have cats in my home. I don't think it affects my personal life. My girl friend doesn't have any aversion to cats or dogs.

I am a dog person so I'd rather choose a dog than a cat. I tried to adopt a cat before she's cute and all but as I had observed dogs are much sweeter than cats. Dogs reciprocate more than cats, I don't know maybe Im not just used to being around with cats because eversince I was small, Im already exposed to dogs coz my mom loves to take care of dogs.

for me i will keep a dog. because they are very sweet. ilove both cat and dogs but i am afraid f the nails of the cat very sharp. ahaha. ;)
