My computer knowledge is limited. My children help me in solving the computer related problems. Do you get any doubt regarding computer operation? Who will help you to solve the problem? Or, do you help others in solving computer related problems?

Ha Ha Ha, nice joke friend. How many times you want to get pushed by her? While typing this line, at least six or seven times or even more, you fell down. Since it is sand, you are not hurt.

Hi Buchi, speaking of computer knowledge I think we are in the same boat My husband totally doesn't have the computer knowledge and he feels reluctant to learn to operate the device as well. Though my son is very good in computer he still can give any help to me. For he works in another state. Yeah, just like the chinese saying "distant water can't extinguish the fire". Therefore if I couldn't get my computer problem resolved myself after getting help from my son via phone. I will then send it to the computer shop and ask the familiar technician for help.
Have a nice day

Yeah, myLot is really a fantastic forum for its members to learn whatever from people from all parts of the world. I'm glad to meet you, a nice and sweet friend from a distant country with different culture and lifestyle.
Yeah, we need someone near to us to solve our urgent problem. We also need friends from all over the world to widen our knowledge and info via chatting online

It is usually other people asking me for advice concerning their computer related problems, or bringing their computer to me to resolve their issues.
I am fortunate enough to have a decent comprehension of both software and hardware operations, so I can deal with the majority of situations that may arise.

Your avatar image is too good. That is really nice that you are able to extend helping hand to others too in solving the computer related problems apart from solving your own computer problems.

I am able to solve small problems on my own, but I don't know a lot about computers and when there is a problem that I can't solve I ask other people for help. My huband's brother knows a lot about computer and he sometimes helps us. He doesn't live close to our home, but we has sometimes guided us over the phone. We also have a friend from our town who works with computers, and he has helped us several times.

i am a computer professional and most of the time for general problems i donot need ot consult any one. and even when i am in need to ask any body , i dont find easily to the people to sort out my problems.
so in almost all the cases i just try to tackle the problems.

I have a reasonable knowledge of computers so can often fix the problem myself. If I get stuck, then I phone my brother as he is really good with computers. I sometimes help other people with their computer problems when they need help.

That is really great friend. I sometimes find solution in the internet. But many a times I will not be in a position to understand what is told in the internet.

I'm typically the one in my family and with acquaintances who fixes the computer problems. I'm not a major programmer or anything, I just know enough about computers from my experiences that they come to me with questions. I've helped set up wireless networks, new laptops, printers, etc. for different people. I also use CrossLoop in order to remotely log into others computers to help show them things without having to go to their house. That has been a wonderful thing.

With the crossloop, can you access other's computers? That is nice. You can repair your friend's computer sitting in your own house. This is amazing. But is it not dangerous to allow anyone (not you any other outside stranger)to access our compouter with crossloop?
