Would you rather be under a wet and rainy day or under a scorching heat?

Here in the Philippines, we usually experience either a hot weather or a rainy weather. Often times it becomes extreme. Most sunny days are so hot that the heat of the sun already hurts, as if like little insects are biting you. Having a rainy weather, on the other, cause a cool environment but often times it becomes extreme that the rain no longer stop (night and day) and often cause floods.
But if you were to choose between the two weathers, what would you choose? A wet and rainy day or a scorching heat of the sun?

No questions asked, I'd rather be wet under the rain. I dislike the heat, maybe because I do have asthma and allergic rhinitis, so the heat does not do anything for me. I would always tell my husband I'd rather die of frostbite than of heat exhaustion. hahaha.

I don't like both of it. It's just that when it's rainy, I can't go outside and there's a power failure or brown-out. If it's scorching heat, my head really hurts and it is somehow a little difficult to breathe. I prefer for it to be cloudy.

neither. Hahaha. I hate summer cause I tend to sweat a lot, and it's not really the best thing specially if I'm just about to go to work. And I don't like rain much either. But if I really really have to choose, I think I would go with the rainy days. I mean, I can just go to the office wearing my slippers and bringing a really big umbrella for protection. But with the heat of the summer, well, I really can't do anything about it...

Cant stand the heat too much, thats why id rather stay inside our house when its scorching hot already and go out with my friends if possible when its rainy. For some reason i feel happy when its raining , hey im not being inconsiderate of those people who experience flooding everytime its raining. Its just that i feel so refreshed and revived when its raining. That is why i always preffer the wet season over the dry one in the philippines ;)

I would love to have rain and if god permits I wish Philippines can have snow. I just hate the heat here in our country, I cannot stand the heat! I always have water beside me and i stay in my room with my aircon on. For the last 3 weeks, maybe my body cannot tolerate the heat my skin allergies came out on and off for 3 consecutive weeks which is really bad because it's leaving me scars. When it gets too hot and my body cannot cope even if I drink plenty of water, my skin still get dry and later on its itchy and sore then pimple like would come out and my whole arm would be in pain.

I prefer the to be wet under the rain rather than under the heat of the sun. It is much more dangerous to be under the sun considering that we may suffer from heat stroke, dehydration and even skin cancer. Whereas under the rain, the only thing that perhaps we will experience is cold which can always be relieved by a cup of warm coffee.

I asked that question to someone this afternoon because yesterday it was very hot and today is rainy. If you ask me, I prefer to have just slight rain during middle of the day and no rain early morning and late afternoon. I wish man could invent something which would make us control our environment using remote control.lol

hey kharlav.. i live in a region of extreme weather in India..
here most sunny days are hot and this time it had become even more severe .. i don't deny that i want rainy weather only.. i want a good combination of sunny and rainy weather both so nothing goes extreme and we can enjoy properly..

Ugh. Please. I'd rather it was wet and rainy than scorching hot. Especially in the house we live in, the neighbors roof is right outside our window. We live on the top floor. Every noon time, when the sun is hot, it would heat up the metal and in effect, we can feel the heat through the wall. Plus the sun is shining at noon time just outside our window. So the heat from the sun enters our window, plus the heat coming from the roof. it's a total killer for health, not to mention our electric bill.

I am also an inhabitant of my dear Philippines, and i'm used to this kind of weather. if i were to choose between summer or rainy days, id rather choose the rainy days because i love it when it rains plus the cool fact that its cold during this season. God was so smart that He was so balanced with the things that naturally happened within our surroundings, if it rains all the time, we can't survive it either. We also need sunshine so let's just enjoy our weather..

Hello kabayan, yeah we recently experience some of the worst weather disturbances in our country, and having experience all of this If I were to choose I would still choose to live in a dry environment because a lot of outdoor activities depends to be done and it can be easily achieve during the dry seasons, though rainy seasons are also important, a little would be good but too much is way out of our control. I'm sure someday we could find a solution to cope up on this disturbances.

i would rather have the heat of the sun than get wet in the rain. as long as the plants are not dying and there is still enough waters in the lake, i prefer the heat of the sun. anyway, there are SPF always available for protection.
