Spambots of the Runescape world beware.

Player mods officially have the right & ability to mute you. Yes...Pay your $6 a month for a spambot that will be muted & useless. Make a new one if you like, I'll happily point a mod your direction. I'm tired of watching you spam for the price manipulation merchanting clans. Tired of watching you run the price up on an item just to have it's value crash. You virtual Enron wannabees are finished... Doom...Doom & Destruction to you all.

Interesting! I too want to get rid of spambots. The merchanting ones are kinda useless as many players (hopefully) know about them! I'm with you all the way to get rid of these hideous creatures called macroers! - Fry

Since there are always new players joining & there's no information readily available about the merchanting clans ( unless you know to do some research ) many people still fall for the merchanting clan scam. I've been offline the last week so hopefully there's been even more improvement while I was gone. If not I have a rubber chicken ready to whack me some spambot...

Hahaha! I am definitely with you on that one friend! Well I have seen progressive work with merchant clans but they still roam RS. I want to get rid of them so bad as they are ruining the economy of runescape - Fry

Why is no one responding to your post?? Does no one play runescape? Maybe no one cares about it as much as you do!! Guess they don't spend every spare min sitting in front of the computer. colecting dust!!! That's about all you get!!!!!

It's gotten a good bit better. On world 58 ( blast furnace world ) there were commonly 3-5 spambots in the G.E. at any one time. Now thanks to the mods muting them there's usually no more than 1 active one. I usually call one of my mod friends soon as it appears & shut him down too.

What world are you on? I am on w113 (total level 1000+), I think it's the only world with NO spambots, bots, or noobs.

Bots typically don't have the level to get on that world. Most of them are only level 3. I'd use that world more often but many of the events I go to are based on other worlds. I've noticed an extreme difference in the # of spambots since I posted this discussion. The moderators are doing a good job of muting them.

Your not kidding. Personally I'd like to see them humiliated somehow , like reprogrammed to walk around quoting the Runescape rulebook while dancing the funky chicken.
