Hi friends, I wanted to start a discussion about being thankful. A friend of mine suggested that it would be fun to start a journal of blessings or somewhere that we could put down our thoughts of what we have to be thankful for. Well here is what I am thankful for today. I was visiting the Hardrock Cafe of Nashville this past Saturday and when we were finished and waiting for our ride back to the hotel we set out sacks and stuff on a wall by the sidewalk. When our ride arrived we got into it with our packages and drove away. about fifteen blocks away I was looking for my camera but could not find it anywhere, I feared it was lost for I had left it on that wall by the Hardrock Cafe. We turned around and went back, sure enough it was not on the wall where I was sure I had left it. I went inside and asked if anyone had turned one in, knowing that if someone had found it they would keep it. But to my surprise they had it, I was so excited that I forgot to even leave a reward. Have you ever left something and had it returned by honest folks? I think this is a sure way that God has of restoring our faith in people, don't you?

This is a nice positive discussion. It is always good to think of our blessings. I lost my license and credit card once. I had taken them out to show the clerk at the store and during the transaction I forgot all about them until I got home. I was looking at something online a few hours later and discovered my card was not in my wallet! I called the store and they did have it for me. Phew. I was very concerned. That was a very good honest experience, and I am grateful to the clerk for keeping it up for me, rather than keeping it.

Yes it is good to find honest people and is such a shame that there are not more of them. I just knew that the camera was gone for good when I discover it missing. The camera could be replaced but the photos of us at the Grand Old Opry could not.

Yes I am glad that some people are still honest. Some of the things I had photographed are no longer there due to the recent flood in Nashville.

It is terrific you did get those photos back along with the camera. I'm very happy for you. That would have been terrible to lose those photo memories of the trip.

Someone had found it and was willing to return it? Wow!! This is a Good thing. Many times so many people end up loosing something and never get it back. Well, since you did not leave a reward I am sure in others way Good will come back to that person and it will be worth it for sure. Just to know the rightful owner was able to get the item back could have been just what they wanted anyways.

Yes it is refreshing to know that there are still honest people around. I had to describe it and all before they would turn it over to me which is good. But just to know there are still honest people around makes me feel good.
