Hello mylotters,
I know we are in different time zone, I am in the Philippines, and it is still early morning here. Some of you may have also be starting their day, or some of you is about to end it in a few minutes or hours. No matter what are time zone is, we were able to wake up this day. This is something to be thankful for.
I wonder, what are the thing/s that came in your mind when you woke up today?
As for me, my first thought today was food. . I was thinking what food I should cook for today for my family. I am a working mom, and I usually cook food for our breakfast and something for my son's lunch. We would leave my son to my mom's place but I see to it that my son have a packed lunch, so anytime that he became hungry he can eat even if there is no food yet in their table.
How about you mylotters, what were your first thought/s today.

actually,my clock is always set at 5:30am,as soon as the clock rings,a conflict in my thought will happen first--get up early to study or lie in bed for a lazy morning. If i get up to study,my first thought is what to learn and how to study hard, what my today schedule.Or IF I spend a lazy morning,i will regret after i get up latter. What a pity i waste a beatiful morning.

MY first thought of the morning will be, do i have to wake up so early?? Can i be dozing off for another 5 minutes or so?? lol =D
BUt after i woke up, there's basically nothing much in my mind, and it's a blank actually.. lol =D For the routine will be the same, washing up, bathing, getting ready for work.. While all the preparation work are done the night before, thus it's easy for me.. hehe ^_^
It's only till mid-day, then i will start to think or plan for rest of the day.. lol =D

Well, its my love..whether she had a good sleep and fine. She gets up early than me and goes for her busy work at kitchen and house hold works. I will search to wish my good morning and how she is for the day. Though we go apart sometimes for our work abroad.

Well I have no work today. So the first thing that I thought when I woke up was... relax.. just take it easy and enjoy the day. The next thing I though of was my morning coffee. I always drink coffee in the morning, but this morning I took it a little bit late considering that I did not rise from bed early.

i am from the Philippines also, and the first thought that went into thinking when i woke up is to get ready for school. we enrolled our son on a summer school. just to make him feel ease for the big and real school. so he goes to school everyday. since it is holy week his last class is today and will resume again on monday after easter. so the first thing i had in mind was school and i know my son will be sad for it is the last day for the week and he will be missing school. he enjoys it very much and the teacher says he isa good boy.

My first thought is how to spend the day. I plan out the details in the morning. I look at my dairy where I write my plans for the day particularly. Sometimes I get bad dreams where my brain don't work in the mornings. I feel a bit lazy at that time and at these situations I love to sleep more instead of waking up waking up in the mornings. On sundays my thoughts go in a different direction.I spend the morning without any thoughts and any works. Peace prevails in my house on sundays.

hi red-amethyst my first thought since I am dealing with a badly broke out right leg that itches like fury, my first thought was what is the'doctor going to say, and since it doesn't look as bad as it did
yesterday will he think my call was not necessary. So finally when I
got to see him, my doctor looked at my leg and gave the tongue twisting name for a allergic rash to something my skin did not like at all. He was not upset, but told me cream s would not touch it, he had to give me steroids, and warned me they were going to shoot up my blood sugar. I got a big shot of them in my butt,so will be sitting on a sore spot for a few days. But he was his same kindly self which is why I did not change doctors to someone closer to where I am now. He has been my doctor for many years. So my worries were for the most part were just blown out of proportion. I am here in the US in California in fact. He also gave me a prescription for pills to take, and as he like so many doctors wrote this in a scribble I hope the pharmacist will be able to read it.

I would always think of the tasks I have for today to complete. Really a long list when I started to think about them. But a pastor reminded me that I should make the effort to think of God first before others. So I was trying to practise that now, to give thanksgiving to the God before I think about other things.
