Google purchased Grand Central, and turned it into online phone service to limited accounts. I had heard so many great things about google voice, and I heard it is free of charge if you call local or long distance within the United States. You can connect all of your phone to one google designated phone number, which you desired the number to be. You can text and call unlimitedly without a cost. Is that a truth. I am going to sign up with google voice application, and I want to experience how it going to work. Does anyone have experience with google voice service?

I am a member of it and it is pretty great and yes all local and united states calls are free from what I have experienced only international calls they charge for. But who knows if that is how it will stay since it is in beta. But yeah it is a really good service. Good luck getting your account :)

Hopefully I will get my free account soon. I will eagerly to have two phone numbers where I can place calls with each different number. How exciting it is.

I think it's not free becoz they are trying to promote their product i the form of a chain by sending mails and getting calls.
