Do you think Manny Pacquiao should retire from boxing?

I don't really think he should, he is just so talented to go to waste since he will just run for politics. Politics isn't really for Manny, it might change him... But well, it's up to him, if he wants to retire or not- we can do nothing to change it. But it would be nice if he continues boxing, because he inspires us- he is like our hero--in the Philippines...

he should retire as early from now. he has all the money he needed, he has accomplished everything as a boxer, he has nothing else to prove and has taken virtually every best fighters available for him. there is nothing there for mayweather except for money, believe me, floyd is nothing compared to the likes of cotto, mosley and even to clottey... he simply cannot beat this guys.
pacman should retire and be a politician that he dreamt to be. forget floyd, in 20 years time, he is broke and he will be pleading for money from pacquiao.

Eight months later and he still hasn't retired yet...and now he has broken the record for having 8 titles in different weights in boxing. But the people really want to see Mayweather fight with Manny. Personally, I do not think Floyd is a good fighter- just running round the ring..

I'd like to see him win against Mayweather first before he retires. If I had my way, I'd want Pacquiao to retire with his title intact. He's not young anymore and there will come a time that there will be better boxers than him, and I don't want him to end his career with a loss. But of course, the decision is his, and even if many would still want to see him in the ring, he should look into the future. Thing is, I wouldn't really want to see him in movies or as a politician. Maybe he could just run a business, probably a boot camp for boxers or something like that...

Many are saying that Pacquiao has already reached the peak of his carrer and he has nothing to prove anymore. But Sports writers, Boxing aficionados and Fans like me would surely not want him to retire at this point for obvious reason: a fight with the Mayweather vs Mosley Winner. For me personally, I believe that a win against Mayweather or Mosley would leave a more memorable legacy for Pacquiao and extend his already imposing mark in boxing history. But we should leave that decision to Pacquiao whether he should retire or not. The result of the upcoming election would greatly influence that decision.

Manny Pacquiao should fight one more time before retiring. He should fight the winner between Floyd MAyweather and Shane Mosley and cement his legacy in boxing. After he wins, Manny should retire from boxing before he gets old and a younger fighter beat him.

one last shot and that's with floyd Jr. I would like Manny to keep on fighting but lets accept the fact that he is no super man. Eventually all those punches thrown his way that landed will take its toll. When that time comes, even his billions can't help him. I think Manny deserved to enjoy the fruits of what he has worked so hard for. He can join politics at his own risk but the sooner he retires from boxing the better it is for him.

i think he should quit boxing already because of the fact the he's already rich and famous. He has proven his boxing ability for the longest time and created a countless world records that will prove his might. Its better to retire famous rather than to retire as loser. He will live a comfortable life even if he retire this time, better to enjoy his life now that he's young.
