Homeschools?

I've been using Abeka homeschool for my son and we've been doing very well with it but...this year it has been one drama after another with them. We've been accused of not sending payments when I have the canceled checks and not sending in test when I know I did. It's like the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing with these people and I'm just sick of it. Does anyone here homeschool? If so do you have any recommendations for homeschools that are similar to Abeka?

I am not confident in my own knowledege to think about home schooling. crongratulations to you and your son, i think it would be very trying and difficult to teach and mould their youg minds.. Plus i like the break from the children when they go to school i get time to myself.

Oh, you are not kidding! It is VERY hard spending 24/7 with your child! I think that is the hardest part about homeschooling. He is distracted very easily and the teachers won't make him sit still and learn so this is the only way I am confident that he is retaining the information.
