If ones trust is broken between any of you will you believe them again?

a broken toy can be mended, but a relationship broken due to the absence of trust can never, ever be repaired. on the other hand, a relationship based on trust is ideal and sure to work out for long. also, when the trust is broken in a relationship based on trust, the relationship will never be the same again, it may even go kaput...

Trust is something that takes a long time to earn. If it is broken, may very well never be repaired. That's why it's important to choose very carefully who you trust and let into your circle.

It really depends on the circumstances. I don't think a relationship can be minded if you have this in your mend. You just don't know. Trust is very important in a relationship if that is broken it is next to impossible to mend. It takes time and a person that wants to believe the other and that is not always the case.

If I'll catch him doing something that would really mean to me, and it will break my heart and would eventually build a bad reputation on him, I don't think I could believe in him again. or I could not trust him anymore. I don't believe in second chances, so if he's doing it right now, he'll do it again in the future.

well i've been in that situation before and even though you say you'll be able to trust them. you really and truly don't trust them even though you think oh I can trust them I was able to do it the first time but it gets harder and her each time you have to learn how to trust them again.

I do believe that there are times that we will break trust with our friends and family and this does have a tendency to hurt relationships. However, I also think that a one time breech in trust is not something that can't be overcome. I believe that there are some times that we have to try to start our relationships have to start over from fresh and in those times there may be things about the relationship that will never be the same again. But then again there are the times that we are able to still keep a great relationship with a person after trust with them has been broken.

if A person breaks my trust I never believe him ever again. Without trust there is no comfortable relationship.

There is an old saying that says Hurt me ounce shame on you, Hurt me twice shame of me. I would never completely trust that person again. We could be friends again but I would still be careful around this person. You know, thinking about it I would have to say I don't think being friends again is possible. Trust is the most important part of any relationship. Ounce that's broken its gone. I'm sure you can talk to each other but that's as far as I would go.

I try hard to be able to believe them again because I see what kind of state the world is in and I've realized that I need to always be willing to project trust and honesty because the world needs it. I need to be the example of compassion if I ever want anyone else to benefit from it and perhaps catch some of it and start spreading it around the world. Yesterday a friend of mine that has owed me like 60 dollars for quite some time now got a hold of me and was telling me about how sorry he was about how he hadn't paid me yet. It warmed my heart to hear this because it showed me that people can change for the better we just need to have faith in each other and certainly can't give up on our brothers and sisters. no once the trust is gone there is nothing there it will always be in the back of your head what they did to you and i won't go away so learn for what ever it was and move on

This is hard for me, it is very unfortunate to loose someone's trust. We make lot of efforts to build trust in relations but just one bad actions takes the trust away from you. One can try to restore the trust they had earlier but it wount be the same feeling again. Trust but verify is my Funda :)

If someone broke my trust I will be furious, It will really hard to gain back.I will forgive them if they ask but I will be same as before

i believe that everyone deserves a second chance. even the creator forgives. how much more us, human beings. it would also depend on the gravity of the fault.

i agree with you, rorisricha, totally. in my personal view , once a trust is broken, its very difficult to repair. its hard to go back to the old times day. when someone close and valuable to us, break our trust, we become very broken hearted. the pain, the agony and worst of all the feeling of being cheated and conned is very serious. i feel the grief. so very difficult for me to get back to equal setting. is there a guarantee that my trust would not be betrayed again. once beaten plenty time shy away. to me only God can work in me and through me to forgive the person.

about your question, yes i think i can trust a person again in case that person did something wrong. It really depends on what that person did actually. But in time i think i can forgive. We have to learn to forgive in order to trust if we want to be forgiven by God.

"Once bitten twice shy" is a saying that has been there not without reason. Once someone lets you down it becomes difficult to trust that person again and that shattered feeling specially when someone who you trusted most does it, cannot be easily forgotten.

Yeah! it is quite difficult to believe them once again..if he/she broke the trust ones..Because FAITH OR TRUST is a base of any relation..one it is move from one place..very difficult to keep on that place again...so my opinion is that the faith or trust having before can't be built once again..

Trust means placing confidence on someone without fear of misgiving; I hope I'm right. It's a very complicated word depending on how you give or confide it with somebody: your friend, your love ones, the love of your life or simply people you know well. In an intimate relationship basically you trust the one you love but once it is broken, the feeling of anger and resentment is there. For me it's really hard to trust again if it is broken. You're right the distance between two people becomes limited. I mean you can forgive a person but you cannot forget the wrongs he/she did.

There was a time when I lost my trust to my boyfriend. We even broke up and have our own separate ways. Until one day he come back and win back my heart. Even if he already proven his worthiness I still have problem in trusting him much more now because he is far from. So I always suspect him of doing anything until he get tired of me keep on suspecting him. Our relationship now is on the rocks. True once the letter T will be removed its RUST.
