Can anyone suggest a lan messenger that will run in different Flat form.

Guys help me find a gud private lan messenger that i can use in my network.. lan messenger that will run in different flatform since i have linux operating system in my network.. your help is very much appreciated. thanks!!!

Hello rhya08it, I have tried QuickMessage : http://quickmessageapp.com/ Precompiled versions for Windows, Ubuntu 9.10 and Fedora 11/12 are available and the author is announcing versions for OpenSuse and Mac. Worked fine with Ubuntu and Windows, but I was unable to use it in Gentoo -- the project is said "opensource" but there is no source package available. So, it may work or not for you, depending of your linux.
