We want to bring change in the place where we live. But total transformation is not really possible in one's lifetime. But if you are asked to list three things what changes would you like to see taking place in India? Do you think you are in anyway contributing to bringing changes in those areas?

Not bad. And I am not surprised that you prefer football to cricket. From you nickname I can guess which state you are from :-) thanks for sharing your thoughts. I am impressed, and so I am rating your post.

Good question. At first i like to change our nasty politics, where some criminals and rude leaders exist, it cant lead us for a greater future anyway. Second we need a strong leader like barak obama. We have everything but afraid of applying it. Third corruption, which is going to ruin our history.

Fair enough. Which political leaders would you like to include in the list? :-) I am interested in bringing peace to the nation. The Maoist, Kashmiri militants, militancy in the North East etc. Sometime I feel if the government is more serious in engaging in a dialogue with all these groups they'd come around.

No; I was asking the name of those political leaders whom you consider as criminals and rude leaders. Definitely Assam suffers a lot under the impact of terrorism. But Manipur also suffers a lot. Kashmiris are not so different. I have visited Manipur, Assam and Kashmir and I felt that all of them suffer.

I very much agree with your first two points. But I am little confused about the last point. confused because culture always evolves. And when we say 'Indian culture' it's so diverse. Keralites have one culture so different from Arunachali whose culture is different from that of Kashmiris whose culture again is different from that of Gujaratis. Can you kindly throw more light on that? Anyway thanks for responding.
