OK
we all know smoking is bad for your health right?
My older brother, chipesterkhan, as he is known here smokes steadily everyday about a pack and a half if i'm not mistaken.
He's not though, he works out and has a black belt in judo and karate and a brown in aikido... and he regularly works out... now what's worrying me is his bad habit of smoking.
Thank God he doesn't drink.
His smoking habit is kinda peeving me off as he is never without a cigarette in his mouth. Or maybe I just haven't noticed him not smoking...
So how do you tell him in a nice way, (without getting beaten to a pulp if he gets insulted) to stop smoking?
I'm just about as big as he is but I wouldn't risk it

welcome to the wonderful world of mylot. i just started a dsicussion titled change occur when we decide. and your brother needs to decide for him to change. you can not push him to do it he needs to push himself to do it. all you have to do is to encourage him to do so. tell him how bad it is for his health although i know he is aware of the of course. goodluck and hope to see you more at mylot.

This may be a very difficult thing for you to deal with but it has to be your brother's choice as to whether he smokes or not. You can only let him know that you are worried but you can't force him to quit nor should you nag him into quitting. Ok, we know smoking is bad for us, but unless he really wants to stop smoking, all you can do is hope that he makes up his own mind and quits for himself
