well pretty sure many could relate to this for student and for those who want to get extra money for a summer job. there are many kind of summer job that you could get many around your place but im just thinking if having summer job is good rather than making money online. well at summer job you are not comfortable do you?...rather than doing some blogs or something online then you earn. it's just simple if you have a summer job you earn your money in a hard way i guess so but doing jobs online wEw... you'll just sit back and relax and wait for the outcome of your work... ^^

I used to work as a constructor with my father. The money were good, $50 per day but it was a tough work. Here in Greece summer is hot, about 40oC and I really had to work without any t-shirt. Got many burns from the sun :/ Anyway, I tried to manipulate my needs in a way that I would find some free replacements of things I needed. Being a Computer Scientist, I needed to find free software that would do the exact same job of well known software. I also wanted to know if there is any service or product that would let you upgrade for free if you are a student.. I must admit I am still on investigating, but I've found some diamonds out there and posted them at my blog in order to share with other fellow students Cheerios

Well, I think as long as you like what you do, no matter how hard it may seem, you enjoy it!

I'll be doing both online and outdoor work this summer. I'm going to be a day camp counselor, which is important for my resume, since I'm in college to become a teacher. I also enjoy being outside in the sunshine playing games. During my free time though I'll be trying to earn some extra money online.

No I won't be graduating until 2012, but I'm hoping to get 2 summers worth of being a counselor, so that I have even more experience. I had a cashier job last summer and I absolutely hated it. I wanted to see the sun so badly!

i guess summer job is good than online coz online your earnings here is not that big unlike of having a job as the salary of course is big and its a sure daily income already. but if you want to enjoy your summer then you can have all the time while earning online though dont expect big earnings from here unless your willing to invest big amount of money.

I used to work before while school is out..but I realize that 70% of my earnings go directly to mt transportation, food expenses, clothing and tax..now it feels better working online. In that way I can save all my income.

Why not try if you can do both? its going to be much more interesting if you can at least try something like a summer job and just continue what your doing online as well. No pressure just have fun and lets see what you will be able to come up with. Sometimes we need to challenge ourselves to find out our limitations, this is a good opportunity for you to test yourself and see how good you can be ;)

When I was a nursing student I had a summer job in a nursing home, and it was a great job, because I didn't only get some extra money, I also learned a lot. It was a nice way to get some more experience and that was just as important to me as the extra money. If I had been able to earn the same amount of money online, it would probably have been easier in many ways, but it would also have been less challenging and interesting, and I am happy that I chose my job in the nursing home.

If I really have extra time, I would do them both. I really have to get a hard work experience in daily basis rather than just online. If I have spare time during the weekend, why not sit back in your room, and do my online earning here.

Summer jobs offer the chance of new friends and experiences, online tends to be lonely repetitive and all consuming if you want to make decent amounts. But Ive had some crummy jobs that were like 6 hour brain-kill sessions...

having a good experience is better than having more money in my opinion. by the time we files our resumes, having a summer job is better than just sitting around all summer unless they would recognize mylot.com
