Hi, Nowdays, it is advocated to be a slender women, not matter on magazines, movies and Ads. Many Ads promote their weight-loos drugs sales by advocating slender women is more beatiful and health. And movie stars try to be slender for good picture on TV or on photo. Everywhere is the voice of loss weight. In my opinion, it was over-propagandist. What's your opinion? It is good or not.

Hi Sutent, It's okay. They too presents healthy and big people when the product calls for it. they are trying to be balanced but most of time is being biased LOL. more on the sexy and slender side. but you know it's working --the commercial is gathering lots of responses from the audience buying their products. so, it's up to the consumers to determine whether it's authentic or not...to use the product and will really be thin and look good. beauty is an attitude. if you feel good about yourself and yu feel so beautiful about yourself...you carry yourself with pride and confidence then slender or have and extra weight you will be sexy and slender!

MsFrancisco - I have to agree with you that beauty is definitely part attitude. If you are a happy and confident person, then you will be far more attractive than someone that is negative and insecure regardless of the body type, size or outward appearance of either individual.

I think it's bad. Not only does it give women negative body images (I've seen women who are perfectly healthy and good looking the way they are that try to starve themselves to lose weight to look like models), but it also promotes a very unhealthy look. Not everyone is made to be a size 0. If I were a size 0 my doctors would freak out and I would get put into a facility for anorexia, I'm sure. My mother was a size 6 after she had me because she was so busy running around and doing things and the doctors freaked out on her and made her gain more because you could count all her vertebrae. Imagine if she had been a "model" size then. I think it's good to be healthy and have role-models that are thin, but not THAT thin. It's unhealthy to be too thin and a lot of models and actresses take it too far and end up starving themselves or go about it unhealthy ways just to lose weight and that's not a good role-model for kids to have.

Hi I also it is bad to excessively chase slender. In my opnion, health is more important. It means two sides, in the one hand, we should lost our weight when we are over-weight or fat and in other hand, we should not be on excessive slender pursuit just like some movie star. Different persons have different origin size and some one can never be slender to size 1, no matter what ways he try. So keep us to be health.

because for them slender body are more healthy than those fat women thats why they called it model so that everyone will look at them as an example to stay healthy and sexy. if the model is fat women then who will going to believe them asn no one will going to be look like them of course.

Actually, being too thin is just as unhealthy and can cause just as many health risks as being too heavy. You can be sexy without being stick thin, and there are a lot of people that actually do not think that ultra thin is really that attractive when they see these people in real life, especially since photos can be modified to make them look better.

Yes, I agree. Slender women are more fashionable than chubby ones. It is okay also because it helps women become more fit and healthy.
