hey all, here in the north east england, we have various land marks we also have various sculptures theres a train carved into the rock in middlesbrough though the most famous sculpture for the north east is possibly the Angel of the north pic enclosed. We also have the millenium bridge and various other local sculptures up and down the uk. Have you got any sculptures in your area ? and honestly do you like them or think the money could of been spent better elsewhere ? and finally what do you think the sculptures bring to your area if anything ?

Hello Dear Benny128 , this is myfirst opinion on arts , and to be fair with the mylot members i cann say that i am not a painter eater or poems reader , i cann say that art lies in everithyng we touched and put ourselefs in that object , when we as humans give "birth" to an object or to a situation , emotions only and a way to channel them towards your goal. Now i would say that dealing with this economical crize thats been touching the world , we should try to make an art out of coming out of this crize and make a magical number and make corupion and greed wiped out of this world so hyped in politics. Politics in my point of view its this decade greatest art. Little example Obama been a simple muppet of world banquieres and who is making baillouts after baillouts and sending troops in AFGANISTAN .OOOOps i am offtopic , sorry my friend. Art is great to be apreciated , but i cann be shattered by tirany !!!

in my country, benny, there are plenty of local arts and sculptures. there are many races living here. on top of these various races, they have their own subrace of dialect groups etc. over here the lamp post has various designs lamp shades. there are designs of hibiscus flowers lamp shades for example. then there are fountains where the central theme is the pitcher plants and the nature life of the wild. there is the 'kris' or the malay sword being features in some roundabouts in the country.there are eagles sculptures in some marines parks. there are tortoises sculptures in the turtle consevatory parks. rather interesting ways to learn the arts and cultures of this country.

My area has an entire sculpture garden in addition to commissioned art that lives in various places all over town. Many buildings have sculpture out front or in their lobbies.
