I guess the news already said it. There were many starbucks store closing during this year. They are losing many morning customers who regularly purchase coffee from Starbucks. Instead, they visit McDonald for cheaper coffee. In comparison, I acutally still like Starbucks coffee; due to economic situation, we might have to abandon our favorite, and go for something economic. Don't you do the same?

Personally, I go to Dunkin Donuts. Its cheap and tastes really good. It's also very convenient for me because there is one on the way to work and I also prefer a drive thru. The other options like Mc Donalds and Starbucks either have a long line or no drive thru. With the economy the way it is, Im not surprised that people are choosing a cheap yet more satisfying alternative. Starbucks is pricy and everybody is trying to pinch their pennies.

Although I still go to Starbucks, not in the morning hours though. I could see how many businesses they have lost. It is one of the reason they losing ground to other fast food joints, like your Dunkin Doughnut. Time has changed.
