It's completely up to you. If you think you can manage it then you give it a go. If not then i suggest you give up work for a while and just focus on your studies. There are some who can manage studying while working and there are some who can't. I, for once, thought i can do both at the same time but turned out that i can't. I failed most of the subjects i took up. In your case, it's thye board exams so i suggest you think things through carefully. If you fail this you'll wait for 6 months again to take up you next exam.

Actually that is really a big decision for you to take. If you wanted to pass the exam, then focus on taking a break will be an advantage. One doctor told me that aim not to pass, aim to be listed on top. Because even if your not on the top listed, at least you passed, but when you just think of just to pass, then chances are, you may not, which means, repeating another review.
But i told you earlier, that will be for you to decide. If you think you can handle to review and focus on your review and then work, it's all up to you. But it is much more worth it to give time for such a review, rather than to hit two birds in one stone which may lead only for a repetition of a review.
