I have learned some important rules in order to become pregnant the healthiest way possible. I'm sure most of you will be aware of some of these, but I figured I'd share for those of you who are in the dark.
1. Make sure you're trying to conceive when the woman is ovulating. Ovulation occurs about halfway between the last period you had and the next period you're going to have. You can track your periods and tell the exact time of ovulation. There are even physical ways to tell...Some women have pains and some can tell by the position of their cervix.
2. Make sure you start taking prenatal vitamins before you even become pregnant. Taking prenatal vitamins before becoming pregnant is a great way to prepare your body for a baby. Your body will already have a lot of the required vitamins and minerals it needs if you do this.
3. Make sure you don't drink alcohol around the time you plan on becoming pregnant. Also be sure to stop your fish intake. Also, skip caffeine. Make sure your body is getting plenty of folic acid, too.
4. Be stress free. Eliminate anything negative in your life and you will be in much better shape for carrying a baby.
These are just some important tips when you're ready to have a baby. I would love it if people added more feedback to help others as well!

#5-try to find a hot fertile man. You can sometimes spot them in their native habitat. They are usually lurking inside wi-fi hotpots, lounging around in various bars, or walking around with a dazed and/or confused stare on their faces.

I think that you give excellent advice for any lady that is trying to get pregnant. I have three children: a nine month old baby girl, a two year old boy and a 14 year old boy. I always take vitamin pills and when I am pregnant I take prenatal vitamin pills. Folic acid is said to prevent birth defects. Ladies that are really stressed don't seem to be able to get pregnant. I know some ladies that have given up trying to get pregnant and then life has become more relaxing for them. It is when they are not trying that they get pregnant.
In my second pregnancy I had ultrasound scans at 11 weeks, 16 weeks and 20 weeks. It looked like my baby was normal and healthy. At 36 weeks pregnancy I had high blood pressure and protein in my urine. I went into hospital for testing and they found it challenging to find out what was wrong. I had another ultrasound scan and that is when the spina bifida and hydrocephalus was found. My son was born 3 weeks later and spent the first three weeks of his life in the special care baby unit. I took extra folic acid in my third pregnancy and I had a healthy baby daughter.
