Smartbux just banned me...they are obvious scam...
Sorry to have wasted your time.
Feel free to write something supportive on the forum in my defense...they won't let me on there either...
I had 54 direct referrals....and I asked a question in the forum regarding referral earnings...as they were not paying the amount stated in their FAQs. And I was banned for that. I wouldn't waste any more of your time here. Once again I am sorry.
Granted we all were aware it was a new site and the free upgrade sounded good. This is why I hardly ever join new sites

Innovabux did something similare - all who signed up in pre-launch received a free upgrade, the site went down shortly after launch.
Direct Referrals: More sites need to put some thought into their direct referral policies. If the Admin is trying to run an honest site, they can run into problems without a good policy. If they are trying to scam, usually there is no policy or its ridiculously high.
Direct referrals are a great way to augment your income on a site but there has to be a fair trade-off between the user and the site.
For what its worth....

I tried a few different addresses....one goes to warpbux and another (.com) goes to a parked page. What's the address, I may be able to give a little more insight.

LOL...I won't look then.
The thing to keep in mind is if its Buxhose (which this one is not), that's the only way to be able to offer more referrals since that code won't allow bots.
But if its Gen Code, then they can offer bots (not all can) but if they got a nulled or illegal script - there won't be a bot code and then they have to do what they did to you to offer more referrals.
I'm sure you know this but I thought others browsing this thread might learn something.

Hi,
Thanks for warning us.I am also wary about joining new sites before hearing some good reviews about them.It seems this site has a no-tolerance policy and that is every sign of a bad admin and a potential scammer. So sorry to hear about your ban as losing 54 direct referrals is not a matter of joke.
Hope everyone reads this post and becomes careful about which sites they join.

This site offered the first 100 members a free upgrade...so I thought I would help some people....it definitely backfired

hi, i just read through all your comments in this discussion and visited your blog as well. it seems like you are talking about smart-bux.co.cc and not smartbux.info (which is now warpbux.com)? or are they the same (because i don't know how smart-bux.co.cc looks like)?
that's a shocking news for me because i am a member in smartbux.info. if they are not the same, maybe you should put the link of the smartbux in the description of this discussion. otherwise you should mention smart-bux instead of smartbux. i think most of your respondents have been mislead as they thought were smartbux.info.
anyway, i really don't know whether they are the same? please let me know...

I have mentioned the actual link here...and also most of these people were my referrals to the site.
The site is question has already closed...the domain is for sale.

Oh that is really fishy! They banned you just because you ask question and clarification regarding their referral earnings... I am seeing that site but not a member... Such a bad experience... why not just answer your inquiry??? why banned you for that??? 54 direct referrlas?? Oh that is so sad... they all go wasted...
Well it nice of you to share your ecperience. That is a real good information especially on some that are thinking and considering joining that site too working mom.

Unfortunately this is true as to what happens when you try something new. I always wonder what is good and what is not good to join. But we have to experiment, do some research, and see and make informed decisions. Thanks for the info. sorry it happened to you though.

I am not going anywhere...I have been earning online way to many years to let one site make me quit.
It is just that this was totally wrong of them.
Thank you so much for your concern

No it is wrong how they handled it. I mean an inquiry should not ban you, especially you are confused as to what is going on. You would not ask if you did not want to know the answer, especially if they were have a technical difficulty. I see others got banned too. I understand what you are saying though, if your closing shop please kindly inform us so that we are not left in the loop anymore than we already are. Some marketing tool they have. Hope everyone can get a resolution to the issue. it is a shame to work so hard for nothing. Thanks for keeping us informed of the change.

Thanks for the warning my friend, I will now stay away from that site. Obviously they burned their fingers or hoped to scam people out of their precious and hard earned cash, but why waste your reputation on that?!

Exactly... I was shocked by their actions. Granted they have a free domain, but I thought a free upgrade was worth a try. I guess I just need to stick to my red flag test.
Yes, they definitely don't want to pay...with the amount of referrals I had...I was getting very close to payout.

Thanks for warning
I didn't get it to work out with my browser anyway, so I don't really care. It is sad though that so many sites are scam...
If you find a new site that you think that has potential, then just send me a message. I would be very thankful if you could fo that

I created a circle of friends that like to try out new sites and then once they get paid, we recommend them to one another. I know what you mean, I really don't like to join new sites, especially if they are offering FREE upgrades for limited times, etc...
I have been accused of being a cheater only one site. IRAZOO , for as long as it took me to earn the measly $5 Amazon giftcard, I told them to take a hike, to delete my account, because I didn't have time for that crap! The Admin, called himself giving me "mercy" by allowing me to keep my account and to try again to reach the payout. I was furious. I don't cheat sites out of their money, and I don't like to be cheated out of mine either.
I feel bad for new sites that pull stunts on their honest members only to attempt to string them along as they continue to try to reach their cashing out rules; and yet to have that same site owner/admin up and change the rules. It's despicable behavior in my opinion.
Happy earnings in your other endeavors! Don't give up on new sites, there are some new sites that have proven to be great for me, and I'm still earning from them daily as well!

This was the first time any site has done that to me. I really don't know what they were thinking...I have been building my online reputation for way to many years...people that know me knew something was wrong...the site only hurt themselves. They were closed within hours

Hi,
This is realy shocking and very difficult to say which sites are not cheating, in such a scenario there should be some legalised bonding too to overcome such a loss.
