It depends on the person. I hate the default so I've changed it. I have a samsung, and I take full advantage of the feature to custmize ringtones to names and numbers in my adress book. Only down side is I have to re-assign, them if something happens to the phone. But with mobile backup the contacts remain saved.

I have several ringtones on my cell phone, and I just picked one of those. It is nothing spectacular, but it works, and I like it so I use it. I can also purchase ringtones and put them on my phone, however, I choose not to at this time, as I did one, and it ended up being corrupted, so I will just stick with the ones that came with my phone.
