Why have my stars gone down from 10 to 9???

I premise that English is not my language, I am Italian and I don't speak a good English, but I think you understand me, or I mistake? I had not come on MyLot for a lot of time, perhaps one year. I had 10 stars, because from when I have joined here I have always answered in accurate way to the discussions and I have opened so many new topics writing more then 3-4 lines.. I never write few, I try to answer in complete and exhaustive way. too if English is not my language. Recently I have answered to 3 discussions: 2 to religious theme and 1 that talk about job. I Have written a lot of words in all these cases, therefore I don't understand because someone has negatively voted me! I don't understand if my score has gone down because someone didn't agree with my opinions (even if I have exposed these in civil and diplomatic way) or if someone has not appreciated mine bad English.. In Italian I write very well, I perfectly know the complex grammar of my mother language, but the English language I don't speak well, I am learning and MyLot also serves me for this. Then I hope, that my stars have not become 9 (they had been being 10 for a lot of time, perhaps years) because of my English (because I am not English neither American.. then it is not my native language) because this would be very racist in my comparisons.. If however the negative votes are because of divergent opinions.. I thought it was not this the spirit of MyLot. I thought that here everybody could say own ideas (politics, religious, etc.) freely and in civil way... I don't know how come I have lost my score, I hope has not been because of these two things because I prefer to think that someone is amused to click on the sign "--" to make the fool, rather than to think about having received a negative vote because I don't speak well the English or because someone has not shared my opinions in a free forum as this.
