Yes it is that time again when people celebrate Jesus dying on a cross, or a three day weekend depending on your religious opinion. Supposedly Jesus died on a cross Friday night, spent three days in He11, and came back to life on Sunday morning. Doing the math that does not exactly work. Friday night to Sunday morning is not exactly three complete days. If you take the traditional account Jesus was removed from the cross around 6pm Friday and rose from the grave 6am Sunday, leaving Saturday as the only full day that he had to spend in He11. So doing the math Jesus was in He11 for 36 hours. Maybe Jesus was crucified on Thursday night and rose from the grave Monday morning, or some other combo. Of course Jesus might not have rose from the grave at all, or even existed do to that confusing timeline, but that is another subject all together.
Look folks I am actually doing you all a favor by trying to get all of you longer weekends.

Why do you hate God so much? All you ever do is come on here and mock him? Have you no life? Just curious you are so mean I really feel sorry for you.

I can answer it you just wouldn't understand it so why bother? I am sure Satan is very proud you though. Again I feel very sorry for you since you are such a angry person. I hope one day you can be happy and whatever happened to you to make you such a mean spirited person that's very sad.

You make a good point. It is reasonable to take the view that the crucification happend on Thursday according to our calander because the day begins at sundown the previous day in the Jewish tradition if I am not mistaken.

for me it's not important if which should be the exact day or if 3 days is completed before Jesus rise again. what is the most important is Jesus gave his life to us for us to be saved... even if Jesus experienced all the difficulties in His mission to preach He still pursue it until the end. Not like all man that sometimes they forget what really is their mission in life..
I know that celebating this lenten season every year will remind us of our truly mission in life...
