Would you buy an Extended Play?

I love the man, I love the voice, I'm a total Claymate, but but I don't know if I want to waste the money to buy his Christmas EP. The EP will be a exclusive to Walmart thing, so even if the price isn't that high, I'd still have ship the item in. And I'm not sure, but I hear an EP has only a few more songs than a single. I am rather strapped for cash, and I wondered if the purchase would be worthwhile?
