Well, my cute pup always wish to sleep with me on our bed. Though my grandparents say no, dont allow it and its habit as dogs are not hygenic to have them on bed. But my cute one is almost like my baby and its longs to be with us. So i am confused what to do now? Any suggestions will help me to solve this issue..!

There is a danger in this, dogs are not humans in furry coats, every dog thinks it is a wolf and you are its pack. Sleeping on your bed, is sleeping where the high status wolf sleeps, this makes the dog feel it is a high status wolf, which may make it feel safe and secure. However, as the dog gets older it may decide that because it has this honour it is the pack leader and become dominant and aggressive. all the best urban

If I'm going to have puppies, I'll keep them really clean all the time. I want them to sleep with me on my bed. I will allow them, my mother used to not allow me to do that, but someday, when I'm going to have my own house, I'm going to allow them sleep on my bed.

My mum lets my puppy sleeps with them in bed before but now that she got bigger, my puppy have to sleep on the floor. I bought her mat and she has a big doggy stuff toy at her side and blanket. it is alright to have your puppy sleeping on you bed as long as he kept clean and if you have her potty trained.

i don't have pets and even if i have one and i love it so much i will not also allow them to sleep or even stay with us in our room. i know that how much we keep them clean and groomed, i don't think it is advisable to keep them with us and sleep with us on our bed.

My pup always sleeps with me, or at least starts out the night in bed with me. She goes to bed when I do, crawls under the covers to the foot of the bed and sleeps there for a while. She sometimes gets down on the floor or goes into the living room and climbs into her favorite chair, but by morning she is back in bed with me. I have always had inside dogs, and most all of them slept with me. At one time I had three dogs that would sleep in bed between me and my ex-husband, a little crowded at times but each one had their favorite spot to sleep. Sometimes if I have to go somewhere for several days a friend of mine keeps her, and at night, she climbs in bed with him and goes under the cover to her favorite spot. The only reason I could think of to not let the dog sleep with you is if he/she had fleas or something. Other than that I don't see a problem with it.

I would say it's a bad idea. Dogs tend to have fleas and are not very clean. If you keep your dog clean and free of fleas then it would be less of an issue.

well it has been a long time since I had any puppies so this would be a hard one for me, but I would not want to have them sleep on my bed if they were that small just because I would worry about hurting one of them while I was sleeping. I'd be afraid that I might accidentally roll over on them and that would not be a good thing at all. I'm not sure if you are used to it what you could do to break them of the habit of wanting to sleep in the bed with you, but I wish you the best of luck they are so cute at that age of their lives.
