Anyone used blogging your way to the bank?

Has anyone tried blogging your way to the bank? Are there any significant results so far? I know it is endorsed by known bloggers but I wanna know who here has been successful using this. What do you do? How do you make money with it?

This is just another one of those things that I just don't understand. I started my blog about two years ago and for a time I tried to keep it updated on a regular basis, and I couldn't even bring in a following. I have no one that follows my blog and very rarely is there even a single person that will stop in to read my blog. It really feels like it is a waste of time for me, so I don't even bother with it any more.

I know how you feel but I just started 2 months ago so I guess there is no reason to give up just yet. I too would like to know how you get someone to follow your blog. I wanna find out how these people get to be successful with their blogs. I do not understand much about seo and I need a lot of help with that.

I haven't made any real money from it yet but yeah, blogging for only making money tends to not be the way to go. Money can be made but your main focus is to do others a service that can benefit them along with yourself.

The biggest mistake for me was that I started blogging for money. That didnt work well at all. After that, I made a blog for game reviews, which I am still enjoying.
Now, I have a 3rd blog in which I post free stuff and discount coupons for students mostly. I enjoy it the most, but it is still too early to say that I am successful
