Changing mobile phone

Some people change mobiles phones very quite often, like every month. Some dont change at all unless it is broken or something. Some people change yearly or monthly. Maybe the quick changers need a change and thier isn't any strong need to change it.
What about you, how often do you change your mobile phone and why, what is the main reason to change it? Is it a change you need or your friend has bought a new or better phone and you want to compete or there is other reason in changing it?

The last time I changed phones was about two years ago when the one I was using started breaking down. I hate changing phones because I find it hard to transfer contact numbers from one phone to another. I'm not that much of a techie so I don't know how to use the upload or download feature of the phone book to the computer and back to a new phone. I just transfer the names and numbers manually.
So unless I learn how to do that, I don't think I would be changing phones again anytime soon. Besides, I love the phone I have right now. I've gotten quite attached to it and it still looks and works as good as the day I bought it.
My hubby just bought a new qwerty phone the other day and he's now in the painful process of transferring contacts manually a few names at a time :p

i don't change my mobile phone every month. i only do it if my mobile phone is broken or when i need some better application on my mobile phone.

I usually change phones once a year, as I never found the right phone, and I thought I had and would start using it, and be disappointed. The one now, I am not disappointed with at all, and I will be keeping it longer than what I normally do. I have a Windows Mobile phone, and it has all the features on it that I want or need. It is basically like my laptop. I am so glad that I bought it as I am thoroughly enjoying my phone especially going online with it. I can watch videos and download them as well. It has Vcast on it, I like that as well. I have to pay extra for that, but I can watch anything from television on it and have to use wiri. All, in all, it is a good phone, and I am so glad I have it. Take care, and have a very good day.
