Everyone experiences it without exception and it is no surprise therefore that you should mention it. It is an ongoing situation but one wonders why it should be that way. There are very few who will remember the favours that they receive.

I always experienced the said situation where in people whom i tend to help most of the time forgot everything that i did to them in the past. And if i made a particular mistake against them then as if im that bad already and that i didnt do anything good at all.I just wish people will be able to appreciate everything that youve done to them. Yes we make mistakes most of the time but we are just humans they should both learn how to appreciate everything that we are not just the bad stuff about us ;)

Sadly, I have been in this position many times. There are people like this that frustrate me to know end. I ask them for a small favor and then are all like, "well what have you done for me, lately?" I feel like going like, "do you want me to make a list?" Yeah, these people, you do something for them and they promptly forget that you have done something for them.
I really try and stop doing favors for these people, because they will not remember the good deeds that are done. Then when I make excuses, they seem to get all offended and try and act like that I am the bad guy in the situation. Yet, they are the one who choose to ignore or forget the things that I have done for that. It just goes to show you while there are many people who are grateful, there are some people who are just not worth the time of day.

People, especially the media bastardize those who do wrong things and forget about one's good deeds and accomplishments. People seem to be hasty to point out someone's wrongs and faults, rather than remembering the positive things about someone. It seems that one wrong thing cancels out many good deeds. This is indeed sad and I feel that it is an unequal ratio between good and bad deeds and how people perceive them.
