HI EVERYONE, hope all of you are well. sandal is an utmost important footwear to save our feet from various effects. but it is also true that wearing a sandal anytime is not good for our health. we need more than 30 minutes to walk with bare feet. if we use sandal anytime then there may be some eye problems, blood pressure problems and many more. so what about you? do you wear sandal in every moments of a day? me, i always walk more than one hour in my garden with bare feet. there i look after my flowers and vegetables as well. so please share your views. thanks in advance.

Not exactly. I'm not a fan of sandals and flip flops to be honest, especially because my floors are 100% ceramic tile. Until late last year, I used to wear crocs through the house all of the time, even though they didn't really provide traction either. They finally wore out and I couldn't find an affordable pair ANYWHERE in town. The cheapest I was able to find was $14. $14 for foam and rubber footwear? NO THANK YOU! So I endured for a while and someone got both me and my daughter nice house slippers for Christmas. My daughter's were too small for her feet, which are very wide for her young age, but mine were roomy. Despite really adoring the pair that I had, I traded with her, giving up the warm, cute pair that was bought for me at Macy's for her pink granny pair, which are actually too tight for me feet. But it was worth it to see her smile :)

Ohohohoho... Hehehe... Nice to hear that there is a quick reaction around. U need to prefer earth than cement. U know, in the moring, if u walk in the dew of grass for a year, then u have no need to use spectacles in future. I wear spectacles, its my fault. A super lazy guy who never gives up bed before 9. Haha. Take care.

That is awesome that you get out in the garden in bare feet. That is such a healthy thing to do as you connect to the earth and ground yourself. I always feel much calmer when I am walking around with no shoes on. It is actually better for our structural bones and joints such as hips, knees and spine to be walking around in bare feet too as this is how our bodies were meant to operate. I am lucky that I work from home, so I get to do this quite often throughout the warmer 6 months of the year. I hate having cold feet so I do not do it in the cooler months.

hi friend. thanks for your kind consideration. yes u are too right that without a shoe we find ourselves better while walking in sand or grass. ohhh. u have a great knowledge about why we should stay an hour being bare footed. i admire it. in winter season, i go out for a walk at noon so that i can feel some warm weather as well being bare footed. have a nice day.

That would be a great thing to do in winter as well just for a short time in the middle of the day. Another great way to get energy from nature is to swim in the ocean. You get all of the negative ions as well as the salt being a great healer for your skin.

Yeap - Me too. It's fun that way, makes you more deft, agile, and silent (like a ninja!) - Or it reminds you what halflings like frodo feel all the time. And to think you are stepping on all that dirt! But who cares, right? It's fun that way - like walking on the beach - only, it's concrete. hehe.

Yup i do or should i say we do, its more like a custom in our house that you have to wear one for as long as your inside the house and you have to wear a different set outside the house too. Its more like a precautionary measure of my parents so that nobody will get some dirty germs when your not wearing any.I find it to my liking though and dont find it as something annoying, got used to it thats why im having no problems about it ;) happy mylotting!

I haven't worn sandals in years, not even around the house. The occasion or where I'm going dictates the type of shoes I wear outside the house. At home, inside, I usually go barefoot; and in the summer, I usually go barefoot outside as well.

One of the first things I do when I get home is take off my shoes. In fact, when I visit someone I often have to resist the urge to take off my shoes! (Most people in the states do not remove them at the door as some cultures do.) I sometimes go out into my yard without shoes on but I was taught as a child to wear shoes outdoors because you could step on something and injure your foot, which is not pleasant. What kinds of flowers and vegetables are you growing shibham?

As you can see, I fell behind in my myLotting a while ago. I am sorry your garden was destroyed. I hope by now it has been able to rebound. It has been raining a lot here recently and every time my hibiscus gets new buds the rain beats down hard and they break off. At this rate I will never see any flowers! Your mother and sisters are doing a good job. Just imagine life if the situation were the opposite!

Hi cane, u are same to my mom and sister. They often scold me if i enter home wearing shoes, even they never allow me to wear sandals inside house. They tend to sweep all the floors more than 5 times per day. My father and me cant endure it. (I mean their too much cleanliness). I dont think that there are sharp things everywhere. U may find some safe places to walk on. In my garden. Among vegetables, i have Ridged luffa, white gourd, teasle gourd, okra and cucumber. Among flowers, i have more than 7 varities of rose, orchids and many more. Last few days ago, a storm has demolished my garden pathetically. Have a great day.

Hiya shibham, Whenever I can do without Shoes or Sandals of any kind I will. This is not easy as we have very cold weather so I don´t think my feet would be very grateful for me going without any boots on. In England when I lived there it was so much easier to be without Shoes on in the Garden I used to walk in the Garden with no shoes on I loved it. Where I am now when it´s warmer I wear canvas sandals that when no one is looking I take them off and soak up the warmth of the sun and the dew on the grass. You have to keep your sandals within reach of you or you might well find yourself without any to walk in after. Practically impossible to walk without any sandals here normally as there is always lots of broken glass around and other sharp things but on the whole I do try to be without sandals or shoes when I can.

Hi angel. Yes most often we have to sustain all everything according to climate or weather. I dont know what is the temperature in your country but here its almost 32*celcius. So its simple to walk on barefoot even in winter, u can go out at noon. As i have said that we should walk on grassy field (if there is dew, then better) or beach. There is no chance to have broken grass, nails or something sharp things. Have a nice day.

Hiya shibham, I love Sandals most of all as you can wear them in the House in Winter even though it´s very cold much better than slippers that make your feet too hot sometimes. It´s very healthy and good for you to soak up the dew on the grass under feet with no sandals or shoes on for as long as you can take it. This is not possible for me as we are often below 5 degrees centigrade a lot so not so good unless you want to catch a cold to go with it. When we have been on a long journey and are going or coming back if there is real grass around I like to shove my toes into the wet grass if it´s not possible to take my Sandals off. Something you can´t buy in a Shop this one. Instead of more concrete there should be more grass everywhere.

I can't go barefoot. I have difficulty walking and I tend to not lift my feet high enough. I walk on my toes sometimes if I am barefoot. The only time I am barefoot is if I am going in to take or shower. Plus my feet are always cold, so I probably wouldn't go barefoot anyway. When I was a child, I was barefoot all of the time, and I would like to be now! I don't usually wear sandals either. I need more support and I need something over the heel to keep them on. I had never heard of eye and other health problems if you don't go barefoot for some of the time. Maybe that is a rumor like so many others.

Hi, Shibham. I rarely wear sandals, but actually I don't know it is bad for our health. The first thing when I back home is to change my shoes to slippers. Slippers is the most comfortable shoe for us to relax our feet after a day's rush. Besides, I am used to having foot bath (maintain water temperature at about 40 degrees better) for at least half an hour everyday. That's really very good for our health. Happy mylotting!

Thanks for your enjoyment of this information, Shibham. I have gone through the above link site. It sounds reasonable and interesting. Actually, I enjoy the sensation of my feet in direct contact with the ground, but for reasons of untimely season and dirty ground I developed the habit of wearing slippers during non-working hours. Well, now I gathered the information about some benefits of barefoot, I will try to have much more barefoot time to keep fit. Thanks very much! Hava a nice day!

In India, most people do not use sandals inside the home. Even when we visit others, we leave our footwear outside the house. While I usually stick to this rule while at the homes of others, in my own home, I do wear slippers inside especially during the colder months. Our marble flooring is too cold for my feet which get cold pretty fast and for this reason, I wear slippers inside the home during the cold months. But I remember walking barefoot when I was younger and also when I visited my relatives in India during vacations.

yes friend. Me too. I dont wear sandals while at home but in case of winter i wear. Thats a great ritual( i say ) that we should keep our sandals just outside the home because you don't know how many viruses are coming with yours. but for our better health we need to walk being barefooted on grass at least some moments of a day. Have a nice time friend.

I personally tend to walk around barefoot a lot more often than I tend to wear shoes. I wear shoes when I am leaving my house because that is the only thing that is socially acceptible. However, when it comes to wondering around my own house, I see nothing at all wrong with never putting shoes on my feet. I was born and raised in the south and I think that is a large part of the reason that I choose to be the way that I am when it comes to shoes and such.

Hi dorannmwin.... that's better for your health. In some places it's a tradition to wear shoes or sandals in social places. But when the question of health and freeness aries most people like to be barefooted in home. Thanks for contribution. Have a nice day.
