Well with the hype about organic food and the many beliefs that organic boasts a better nutritional value compared to its non-organic counterparts, many consumers are now faced with the question of whether to invest in the more expensive organic foods or not. For better health, I am sure many health conscious consumers will not think twice to invest in the more costly organic produce. However what really deters people from revamping their diet from a non-organic to a purely organic diet is perhaps if these so-called organic foods are truly beneficial to our health. So in your opinion should consumers invest in organic foods?

Organic in a sense that these foods are all natural, safe and you know that it did not use anything chemical during the process of cultivation or raising. But that does not mean that it has the highest nutritional value at all. What makes it valuable is the way they were processed. Take for example an ordinary egg to an organic egg, which would you select? the two are both eggs, but the price of an organic egg is way more expensive than the other one right? But it is your choice. These two have gone into different procedures. And as I told you, organic is safest, that is why you pay for the price. Yes, for better health you would go for the organic one, but i don't say that if it is just an ordinary egg, it will never be safe, of course not. Even on veggies, it is good to eat veggies, although you need to be careful also when you prepare it, be sure it will be clean, chemical free. If you buy one from an organic food store it will be expensive, but for sure, safer and better.

Hi I think what you have written is certainly very informative and I really agree with you the valuable part about organic products lies largely in the way it is cultivated, totally without the use of pesticides and chemical, making it clean and chemical free. For the price we pay it is definitely in some ways better than the non organice products which rely on the use of artificial chemicals and pesticides.

I don't think organic food higher in nutritional benefit if you compare to regular vegetable or food. I think organic food more safe because it grow it green house and not using pesticide in proses, so every time we consume it we have peace in mine. Organic vegetable also more crispy and sweet than regular vegetable.

hi nangisha yes I totally agree with you that organic produce may not necessarily bemore nutritious than regular ones but of course for the price consumers pay there must be a certain reason why organice products are more expensive. Perhaps as what you mention the method of growing the crops is more particular without the usage of pesticides thus resulting in 'purer' crops.

Organic foods and supplements are always rich in nutritions. As the fruits and vegetables are harvested organically, there is no chemicals added to it and this will infact provide better health benefits if consumed.
