love this movie so much, too- after all the things they've been through and the people who prevented them from being together- even the sickness which separated them, they still managed to find each other and be together until the end...

Hi Shenlynn I agree with you I really enjoyed the NOTEBOOK Ryan Goslin and Rachel McAdams (I think thats her name) did a wonderaul job as young Noah and Ally also I thought James Garner and Gena Rowlands did an excellent job as the older Noah and Ally it was great the way the fell in love and the devotion he had to her in spite of all the years they were separated it was romantic how he renovated that house for her and turned it into an old folks home which he and she stayed at and all the letters he wrote to her over the years while he was in the military that she never got because her mother kept them from her. In spite of all that they managed to find each other again and stay together ... it doesn't get much more romantic than that~

I have to agree! i like the movie alot too. Even if im a guy i just cant help it but to fall in love with the movie as well. Yes its pretty mussy and cheezy but if you know how to appreciate the movie im pretty sure you will be drawn to it as well. Its more of unconditional love to someone you really cherish. If you havent seen the movie yet now is the best time for you to see it ;)

Yes, it's a tearjerker no matter how many times we watch and read it. It inspires, grips our hearts, and makes us believe in how amazing true love can be. What can I say, it's Nicholas Sparks.
