3D TVs a trend or just a fad?

3d tv - 3D TVs will turn out to be next big trend only if you will be able to watch the images without the aid of glasses.

Will 3-D television become the next big trend or is it destined to be a fad that comes back every couple of decades?

It is expensive now because its new. The prices would fall later. Would it become a trend then?
