How Do You Say "I Love You?"

I was just curious and maybe this forum might help me in my question...How do you say "I love you" in your own native tongue? How do you say it to your love ones?
In my country, Philippines, we say "Mahal kita" or "Iniibig kita" and most Filipinos are very demonstrative in showing their love through actions and words.
So how about you? How do you say "I love you?"

in out native tounge we say like 'nenu ninnu premistunnanu'...in our country we have more than 16 officially recognized languages. i know 3 of them.. telugu, hindi and english.

Hi kababayan, I am a Filipino too and I live in Negros. When we love someone, we just usually say "I love you" instead of our own native language, because if we say it in our own native language it will sound very corny. But "i love you" in our vernacular is "nahigugma ko nimo" or just say "naibog ko nimo" which means "i like you".

Are you a cebuano or an ilonggo by chance? My father once taught me...nahigugma ko nimo as "I love you" in ilonggo.

Hi, ya these three words you can take years to say anyone because these are not only words infect this is your affection, attraction and desperation to anyone expressed in the form of words as well, in my native tongue we say "Mak thara se pyar chhe".

I think for Chinese people, we are more reserved when talking about love. Usually, we would rarely express our love in public, more in private. In Chinese, it's "wo ai ni".

well first time when i said this.. i asked her... are u my friend? she said yes.. then i told her that i m gonna tell u the top secret of mine... then i told about my love... it was not directly it was indirectly.. first i told her about my feelings..... then i asked her would she accept me.. if i see a positive reaction.. then i tell her what if i say that girl is you...?
its some part of my story but not mine from the end... but the idea was the same...
