Why is that people listen to what other people tell them???
I recently found a public group on facebook that I clicked on and read the stuff on it. It then got back to someone who was over me that I had joined the group and they got in touch with me and asked me why I had joined the group! Rather than looking at the group page or my profile they asked me out right why I had joined the group. I felt really let down by the people over me for listening to what other people were saying before fully checking it out. Also I feel let down by whoever said that I had joined the group as only a couple of people that i spend a lot of time with knew that I had looked at the group so I feel let down by them too for saying something that wasn't true!!!

well i think they have low IQ, because if they really thinks they must examine first before believing. They must be very careful on there action so that they will not hurt others.

i didn't understand exactly what you were talking about but i take it's from a facebook group you've recently joined? maybe they were just curious that's why they asked you. i think that's the main reason why people ask questions, because they're curious.

Many people listen to what other people tell them, but many people doesn't. Those who listen to others are more or less those people who have little confidence or they are lacking the knowledge in that area. But those people who did not take the talks of others are always liable to have mistakes. People take the words of others mainly to avoid mistakes and to blame others even if they make a mistake.

I do admit that I listen to what other people tell sometimes, like I joined facebook because my friends have it all already, and they keep pushing me,so I joined in.
I had no regrets though.
In this world where we are always scrutinized in everything we do or wear, that is the reason why some people do listen to what others tell.
We don't want to be judged wrongly.
We try to ask for confirmation, and sometimes we forget that don't have to hear what they say.
We just live day by day, as we want, not on what others want for us.

Bottom line is that some people just cant keep their gobs shut about other people's business... whether they've got their facts right or not! Maybe it was quicker for the person to ask you than to go snooping through your profile - or maybe they just wanted to be sure you knew what they'd heard? I'd be more annoyed with the person who lied about me.
