How to start blogging and earn?

Hi!. For many years of surfing the internet I can say that I am already familiar to some things about the web, but I'm a newbie in terms of online marketing. I would like to ask help to anybody ho has knowledge on blogging and earning in adsense or adbrite? how do i start? do i need to invest? all your answers/comments/suggestions are all appreciated! thanks in advance!
