Is PayPal to PayPal transaction free?

I have a personal account in PayPal and I was wondering if I send $50 to a friend through PayPal, will he receive $50 or will it be deducted and he will receive $49.25 instead.

you may read it on paypal.com or see for your payment history if you've already sent the money.

I think it will just appear $50 in my transactions history but it's not sure if the receiver will really receive full $50.

If you want to send money from your Paypal account to your friends Paypal account, select form the Send Money menu the option Personal then choose Payment owed (eg), this way your friend is gonna receive the entire amount of money, there will be no comission from Paypal. Try that. BTW: your account should be Personal type.

I don't think there is a fee, if you send someone 50 dollars they should get 50 dollars.
When I bought something from my paypal account and sent the business money, I only had to type in the money I owed and all was good. Nothing else was charged for any kind of sending fee.
