Good universities in India.

Loyola and MCC are a college or a university? Since Madras University is not a central University I wonder how much funding they get. And if funding is lacking the infrastructure may not match up with some other universities of central funding. What do you think? Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) is good. But apart from language course it starts only from Masters Degree. And so that makes it an unsuitable candidate. I think University of Delhi is the best liberal arts university in India. After that comes Hyderabad Central University. Then comes Jamia Millia Islamia; then Benaras Hindu University; then Pondicherry University. I would rate the top five that way.

Well, i'm an engineering student, i don't have that much knowledge on arts and science, since some of my friends are studying in arts domain i have this much knowings.. Asan memorial college is the best in Asia for Catering and Hotel Management.. Many people from foreign are enrolled here for BHM course, i heard this from my friend.. I belong to pondicheri, and i forgot about Pondicheri university, sorry for that..

What about Universities? Loyola, Madras is also good. SRCC, Delhi is the best college for Commerce. LSR, Hindu, Hansraj and KMC, Delhi, are good ones. Thanks for the post.
