The iPad went on sale today, April 3, 2010, in the US. And as far as the reports go, customers have lined up for it since the night before.
Do you find it bizarre? Do you find it weird that people would line up for the launch of a product?
What are your thoughts on the iPad?
Me, personally, I am wanting one. And I am thinking of praying and saving up for one, but in the future, when the software is better and the build is better, as Apple is always known for doing: improving in the following release cycles.
The iPad: want it? Leave it? Thinking about it? A penny for your thoughts. Just wish there were some way I could send it (the penny) to you. Heheh.

I agree with you to some extent. It's a little bizarre for people to line up for a new product. And deep in my mind I think Ipad will not be very practical in our life. It's just a luxury. So lots of people seeking for such thing is a little bizarre. But this reflects the excellent impression of Apple's products in people's mind. Creative, beautiful, good-quality, cool...

iPad not being practical.. Hmm I'd have to disagree. I actually prefer reading on a computer, and I do want to read my websites lying down.
I guess the Kindle will not be good enough for me, and the iPhone/iPod Touch's screen is just too small.
I guess, that's why I find the iPad to be the almost-perfect gadget for now. When it gets Adobe flash, it'll be MY perfect gadget! Wheeee!!!

Yeah,I strongly agree with you. A great number of people, especially youngsters are Apple fans. If one person doesn't own its products, it means that they are abandonned by the society. This is ridiculous. Even though all the products are so cool and pretty good, they are still overpriced.

i am not an apple fan at all. So i wouldnt like their products. Actually I think even though they have really good quality, I still believe their products are overpriced.
And about iPad. Same to them, they are overpriced as well. A nokia 3g laptop is even cheaper and has better gears. thats the one i really want to get.

oh and as an electrical computer engineer, i would prefer a windows computer. There are so many applications and programs you cant do with a MAC. PC is still taking the lead of computer systems.
however, if you are not a real computer person, mac might be easier for you than a windows and lunix. MAC is very user friendly, and it looks cool. haha

I think people that get virus are just computer noobs. People are good at computers dont really get any virus.
Thats why I say Mac is user friendly, its hard to get virus and crush.
But for people that are really good at computers, Windows can actually have more functions than Mac.

I disagree with the opinion pasted on top :-) MAC is the real deal pc is just a pretender :-) that said the IPAD is not the best of Apple products, technically nothing wrong with it but is got limited usage, not worth spending so much.

Yeah, it's like an iPhone with a bigger screen and more expensive apps! Hahaha! But the better part is that you can buy books to read on your iPad. :D And, it's almost a netbook. :) I'm loving the thought already. I just wish it already had Flash. Hehehe!
