Congratulations!!!
I cant speak as a father but its pretty darn good being a mum! Mine are both in their 20s now and we can still have silly fun. Lets see... in the last 5 years I've stroked a goose; walked across the stepping stones in a duck pond (that one was just last year); danced in the supermarket aisle; made pancakes and sent them thru the post to them when they left home;sent "instant snow"; let them draw "tattoos" on my arm; made a penguin mobile; gone out unexpectedly at 3'o clock in the morning to pick them and their friends up from an unfamiliar town; driven round looking for them at night when they didnt know where they were because someone thought it was a good idea to drop them off there... y'know, all the regular kind of 'mum' stuff.

i don't think i will do that to my own child as it will make him lose confidence whit his friends, that might lead to lead him to be bullied by some of his friends.
