Tonight match between the top two teams in English Premier League is the most await game for all football fans around the globe. Manchester United wait Chelsea at Old Trafford in a mission to wider the gap between them and Chelsea. They were lead Chelsea by a single point from 32 matches.
But Manchester United without their prolific striker, Wayne Rooney, is just like a toothless tiger. Dimitri Barbetov, as a replacement for Wayne Rooney, just can not deliver what he suppose to deliver when the time needed it most. It is their youngster who just come in that manage to beat Petr Cech in the 81 minutes.
Chelsea, keeping Drogba at the bench, started the game with one men in front, Anelka, manage to score the first goal by Joe Cole from Malouda cross. Drogba replace Anelka in the 70th minites and score nine minutes later to make it 2-0 for Chelsea. Macheda goal after receiving a ball from Nani make it 2-1. This result remain until the final whistle.
Chelsea now take over as a leader in English Premier League standing with 74 points while Manchester United follow in the second place 2 points adrift from Chelsea.
How do you think about this game? The best team won or else? Can Chelsea win the title this year with only 5 games to go?

Yes, first match without Rooney and Man U's attacking options have been exposed as inadequate. Berbatov has just not fitted his billing at Man U. On the other hand, it was interesting to see Ancelloti start Drogba from the bench. That was a gutsy decision for such a big game and it required a big manager to do it. The move paid dividends as Anelka really worked his socks off in the first half and then Drogba can from the bench to finish off Man U of course from an offside position :)
I think the title is Chelsea's to lose now. Only hitch seems to be the match at Anfield against a Liverpool side that cannot slip up!!
Cheers!

Hi ram,
It seem that Manchester United is a one man team. They depend to much on Wayne Rooney when its come to scoring goal. It is worth more to play the youngster then Dimitri Barbetov as he is not like when he was at Tottenham Hotspur.
Carlo Anchelotti really make a bold decision not to play Didier Drogba as a first 11 especially when they need the points most. No one expecting it and that surprise really surprise Manchester United.
As we all agree that football is injustice game. There is no perfect match has been played in the game of football. There will always be a wrong decision by an officials. It is the matter of that decision can have a great impact to the result or not. And this time Manchester United need to pay for it. There is nothing can change the result and no matter how unsatisfied someone can be the result would be remain.
I also agree that Chelsea has their fate in their own hand. If they can win other next matches, they would be a champion, no matter what result Manchester United and the rest of the league teams achieve. They also have more easy path in their next matches compare to Manchester United as they only need to face Liverpool at Anfield from the top seven team. Manchester United, on the other hand, still need to face Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City.
It is really interesting to see if Chelsea could survive and take the trophy back to the Stanford Bridge after Jose Mourinho era.

I think after this match Chelsea won't miss the great chance they have now of winning the Premiership. Rooney's absence was a great loss for United, I think during the past few months he was the engine moving the team.
I don't know if Macheda scored after a handball, Drogba scored from a clear offside position, but that doesn't matter too much, Cole's goal was decisive, and I must admit it was a beautiful shot.
I think Chelsea was superior in this match and their victory is incontestable.
I don't know who Chelsea and United have to play for the last 5 stages, but I think this match sealed the league... Now I hope United will round up and get the Champions League

Hi stvasile,
Where have you been? Did not seen you have a very long time here.
I agree that Chelsea deserve to won that match. They have more control on the game compare to Manchester United especially in the first half.
It is very unlikely that Chelsea would drop points in their last five matches. The only tough game await them is in Anfield against Liverpool. If they could win this then the title is almost theirs. Chelsea also have less commitment since they were out of Champion League competition. Even though they still have FA Cup to played on, their main target is English Premier League.
It would be interesting to see Manchester United feed back after in the Champion League losing to Chelsea. They need to win the game against Bayern Munich to qualify for the sami final but it is not an easy game even though they were play at Old Trafford.

Hi buddy,
Of course, i watched the important match for the Chmapion.
Firstly, i am glad with the result that Chelsea win Man United as 2:1, as i am a fan of Chelsea. In my opinion, Chelsea will probably the season Champion.
Secondly, as to the course, it seems to over-intense and less-brillant.

Hi sutent,
It is great result for Chelsea especially if it is from a game at Old Trafford. Not many team can take even a single point from there. Chelsea really play a good game yesterday. it might not a great entertainment game but a game that can win a match is more important especially at the end of the season like now. Congratulation to Chelsea and hope they could win the title this season.

Hi akuler,
Yes, it is not a brillant game but a very important for the top three clubs, Chelsea, Man United and Arsenal. The three points that Chelsea acquired are essential points on the way to the season Champion. Hope Chelsea can acquire the cup this season.

Hi a98231,
It is really bad for Manchester United this time around. They need to play three freaking games in a week. They lost 2-1 to Bayern Munich in the Champion League quarter final first leg, then lost to Chelsea also with 2-1 score and would meet Bayern Munich again this coming Wednesday for the second leg of Champion League.
If Wayne Rooney can get fit by the time the team from Germany come to Old Trafford, Manchester United might still have a big chances to progress to the semi final. But if not, then they might need to kiss good bye for this season Champion League trophy. Even though Manchester United has a lot of striker but there is no one as good as Wayne Rooney. Demitri Barbetov totally not the good choice. It is time for Alex Ferguson to start with the kids on his squad rather then Barbetov.
