Love them or hate them, you have to respect Chelsea F.C. I am a Liverpool supporter so I have no real love for either team but the outing this morning against defending EPL champs Man. U showed exactly how good Chelsea is this year. Yes, Man U didn't have Rooney and that was a facter but I am not so sure that he would have been the diffence maker today. The fact of the matter is the Chelsea is just too deep! Esian is out, Drogba and Balack didn't start and the Blues still kicked Man U around like redheaded step children. I just can't see anyone in the EPL knocking them off.

Afternoon
Just finished watching the game. Today I think Man U suffered from the game against
BM in midweek.
The game in midweek clearly took a lot of energy out of them. They looked lacklustre and tied to be honest.
Yes Rooney was missed, and Chelsea too have a lot of players out. Man U's performance did improve in the second half, but overall Chelsea deserved the 3 points. Chelsea might just go on to win the title? the title race is hotting up now and is sure to be an exciting climax to the end of the season.
At the moment we are playing Sunderland ( I support Spurs...I know lol)and losing 2-0. It should of been 4...Sunderland missed 2 penalties!!....We have Just scored..yes lol 2-1 now ..come on you spurs!
Can Spurs finish 4th and grab that Champions League spot? I'm not too sure!
What do you think?

jimitoosweet,
No shame bro. I like the Spurs too! Used to watch them in the early '90s when they were pretty good and contenders. And yes, the Sunderland game was rough! Not sure about that ref. But what about Krief's goal (spelled his name wrong I think). He comes off the bench and scores right away? Crazy. To bad he has like no foot skills! Spurs in the Champions League? Maybe. It would be nice. To bad FC Barcalona has a lock on that right now with no signs of letting up. And I support Real so.... :-(.
peace

i think for this season CHELSEA is better than MU.
WHY? Because Chelsea has more quality player both first team and reserve team.
And Chelsea also do not depend on one player to make a goal like MU that depend on Rooney to make goals.
Chelsea has a lot of player that can make goal like Drogba, Anelka, Lampard and Malouda.

Any team with as many match winners as Chelsea are a good team. But it is a bit of an aging team now. Probably this is the last year for some of these superstars at this level. With Ancelloti at the helm it means that he knows how to handle such superstars and yesterday's performance against Man U was an excellent example of the manager being in control. To start Drogba off the bench in such a high stakes match required guts and that is a easy pointer of the coach knowing what needs to be done. It paid off big time for Chelsea and now they are in the pole position.
Cheers!

i'm a ManU fan and i'm really broke by yesterday's loss - that too against arch rival and title contestant Chelsea. it's a very tight contest this season among the top three contestants - Chelsea, ManU, and Arsenal. with yesterday's win Chelsea have clearly taken the major step toward winning the league this season. Chelsea have been a very good team and one of the teams to beat not only in england, but in europe as a whole, for the past several years. and they showed that yesterday too. full credit to them!

Chelsea has a good team and a great coach ,in this year Mu lost against them 2 times , since the coach of Chelsea was coach in AC ,sir Alex could not defeat them whenever they meet each other so now they meet each other against in England and sir Alex lost against them ,waiting for the returning from Rooney.

I don't like or hate Chelsea, but I know they are one of the best team because I like them playing with ManU. But I am a Manu supporter. I was sad when we lose to Chelsea, but they are lucky that Rooney was injured, otherwise Manu would have won the match. Let us see what happens at the end of the league, hope ManU returns back to form.

Hi cwright,
Chelsea is a great team. There is no doubt about that. They have a complete team with a very good reserves. They reserved team can play any first team in the world and still can get the result. It is more to Roman Abramovic contributions. He does not afraid to invest his own money from his own pockets to build the team. It is not like the owner of Manchester United and Liverpool (I am also a Liverpool supporter). They invest money that not belong to them and will bring down these two teams to the graveyard if they still in-charge.
