Do you like the new Youtube layout?

I hate it. I liked the star system because most of the time I don't just like or dislike a video, and the "More from this User" box was something I used a lot back on the old system. I liked it when the video description box was on the side and I could easily tell which were partner channels based on the banners above the box. Now I don't know where the banners went. Plus, I don't like the new layout for the comments. In the old layout you could easily tell when the author of the video was commenting, and now you have to squint to find their comments. Plus, what's with the twitter-like reply system? It was better when you could easily find replies under the original comment.

eh..i'm kind of divided on it. the thing i'm hating is that vevo.some days it stutters terrible and then there's the commercials they added.i suppose it's a small price to pay for free videos,but it sucks.

No i really liked the old look a lot better, It makes the videos look wide or something? And I like rating the vids and checking out the profiles of the video makers but now I really don't even want to because there is almost no visible info right from the start :-( How can a person decide to watch a video or want to after having to search for the description that hidden? It's boring and plain :-( I'm a little unsure if I want to add any more vids :-S

I don't like it... Why can't we rate anymore? I really hope that they will make it "old" again It's strange, it's hard to use but it's definitely different.

I don't like how the dooblydoo is below the video. I much preferred having the information, related videos, and user videos on the right of the video. The new layout makes it more difficult to read lyrics/descriptions alongside the video playing.

Hi, mycookie. I have not seen the new layout. But I will have a look sooner or later. I would think that it would look empty with these parts taken away. I wonder what made them take away these parts???

It's kind of a jumbled mess, to me, and it looks less....um.... professional (?) than the old layout. I think, now, it kind of looks like something someone put together on their sparkly new MacBook in their mom's basement....

Hi mjcookie. You are right it is a very clean look and design but it will take me a while to get used to it. My first impression of it was one of dislike but then I hated it when they changed it the last time.

Yikes! I'm on youtube and I hadn't realised it had changed! I haven't been on it for a while so I've just had a look at it now.It may take a bit of getting used to but I suppose I will :)

I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one who doesn't find confortable the new Youtube design. I think that it will take a while before I get used to it, but I find it more unconfortable, and the design looks worse than before too

I don't like it too much... It's too boring, all colours have been stripped off, now there's just white everywhere. Me don't like :(

Yes, the most important thing that I don't like is that the place of the description is not good. Even, i can't see the description

I also got confused the first time I visited youtube after the new layout took effect. A few more visits later, I am still not used to it. Maybe it will take more time ...

I was informed of the new layout on Mashable before it came out, so I was prepared. Change for me isn't good for the first couple days it's now starting to catch up with me and I like it. It's sleek and clean like you said and I believe I have faster loading times. It's all a matter of your taste and who you are.

I really thought that the new Youtube layout was some kind of an April Fools joke since the change happened on April 1st. But I guess its hear to stay. I don't really like it at all. It will take me a while to get used to the new layout and all the extra added stuff.

I dont like it that much. I guess is just a thing of getting used to it, for me its a bit weird looking. I have a friend that is active on youtube(r4nds if you are interested) and he says he hates it because its made for people to see the videos youtube wants .

I actually like it. Its a bit difficult to "understand" the first time. but i found it nice, and useful. And i like the fact that this site doesnt have the same layout from years ago and that.

I dont like the new youtube layout. I think they are trying to be organized but it actually became corny. Youtube wanna be like facebook who always change their layout. I thought that it was suppose to be something that going to be user friendly but it doesnt deserve the purpose. I hope they are not going to change it again after a few months.
