How can we prevent global warming?

Japan has a good recycling system that it uses. At this point in time there needs to be a global effort to help alleviate the pressures of global warming. If nations band together to fight global warming then maybe it'll help alleviate global warming. The problem is that some people don't even believe global warming exists. Who do you think is responsible for global warming? Should everyone help out or just the super power countries in the real world? Is global warming really an impending/imminent danger? Scientists seem to be split on the matter. Unless someone steps up and takes charge of global warming relief effort we will never know if it was a threat until it is too late.
