Is it better to join a PTC site when it's brand new or if it is old and proven?

Ok, so I just joined 2 very new PTC sites (bout 1000 members at the moment) in exchange for a gagabux referral.
So it made me wonder, is it better when it is new so not many people have joined yet so it's much easier to get direct referrals or are we better off with the old and proven ones even though it is kind of congested already?
I don't mind trying out these new sites cos as I have mentioned in my previous posts clicking calms me down anyway.

I'm sorry friend i don't know if i understood your question or comment quite correctly.. are you saying you're having trouble because you are a newbie? Don't worry it's quite simple I've helped out a few people guiding them step by step through ym a few times already im very patient.
